A Pinto is a small horse with a patchwork coat; it's also a small car Ford produced in the U.S. The Pint was an important car in the 1970s, partly due to its fuel economy during the oil crisis of that decade. It was in two-door sedan or hatchback and station wagon bodystyles. Although Ford sold thousands of Pintos, there aren't too many around anymore.
