Johnny Lightning 1965 Chevelle Wagon

I grew up riding around in the back of a 1969 Ford LTD station wagon, and I have a love for all of these land yachts. Johnny Lightning did a great job on this 1965 Chevelle wagon. Casting number 601, it was released as part of the Classic Gold II series.

This is 1/64 scale at its best. The detail on the taillights is impressive, and the Chevy "bow tie" on the hubcaps is a nice touch. Here in all its glory is auto world's 1969 Chevy Kingswood Estate.

1979 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country Wagon by Motor Max

I'm trying to buy all of the Motor Max 1/64 scale dioramas, and I just recently got the Country General Store that came with a 1979 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country wagon. My family had a 1969 Ford LTD wagon when I was a kid, so I have a real soft spot for station wagons in general. I like that Motor Max was releasing some more obscure vehicles, and wish that they were still producing models.
