Classic TV Series Batmobile by Jada

I've decided that it is Bat-week here at the blog, and am starting it off by showcasing Jada's 1/24 scale Classic TV Batmobile. This is Jada # 98259. These were on the shelves of the big box stores about a year ago, and you can still see them sometimes in Walmarts or Meijers. At under $20, it's not a bad deal.

Johnny Lightning 1930s Batgyro

Johnny Lightning used to sell a model kit of the 1930s Batgyro. It was a "fiddly" kit, with small parts and no good way to assemble except for using super glue, which is not my forte. Here is the assembled kit. Looks good despite my lack of talent. The Batcave is a recent offering from Jada. Not really to scale, but not a lot is available for a Batcave in smaller scales. The Batman figure is from Zerboz.

Hot Wheels '34 Dodge Delivery Bus (DLB45) - 2016 Pop Culture, DC Comics

I picked up a few examples from this series, and I really need to be a little more choosy. I like the casting, and this is the only example I have of it in my collections. But the tampos aren't my cup of tea. It may be that I'm just not that big of a Batman fan, as I keep buying the Hot Wheels Star Wars, which are similar in execution. And I really like the Hot Wheels Star Wars releases.

Batmobile (DHP34) from the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Here is the latest version of the venerable Batmobile (DHP34) from Hot Wheels 2016 Mainline. It is from the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The flat black and faceted body gave my camera fits in trying to photograph the model. Looks good with the right lighting, though. From the card back: 

"Specialty: First revealed in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, this BATMOBILE features requisite gull wing doors, plus partial wheel covers and plenty of heavy artillery."

Hot Wheels Tumbler Camouflage Version (CFR16) - Retro Entertainment series

The Hot Wheels Entertainment series version of the Tumbler (CFR16), camouflage version. As this is a premium model, it has metal base and body and also has rubber wheels. The tampos are also a little nicer in my opinion. The Batman figures are from Zerboz. Got them at Kroger, but haven't seen them in a while, and was never able to get the complete set.
