I got this Wagonaire ambulance off of eBay still on the card. Paid a bit of a premium, but was willing to do so for the Indiana connection Studebaker has. Figures are from Preiser, I believe.
Modeling in (mostly) 1/72nd scale (and any other subject that catches my attention - author suffers from acute "shiny item" syndrome)

Merry Christmas (ish)
This post is obviously overdue. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Time to share M2's 1960 Ford C-600 semi truck and trailer in Moon Pie livery. Included was a bonus 1949 Studebaker 2R pick-up, also with Moon Pie tampos. The Studebaker came with bent axles and warped tires, so I've contacted M2 Castline to attempt to correct this. The antifreeze green works great for the Holidays.

Hot Wheels 1963 Studebaker Champ
A trio of 1963 Studebaker Champs.
First up is the 2011 Mainline edition. Really like that the tires have tampos, too. Sharp little model. From the card: "Specialty: With a cab based on a sedan body, this light-duty pickup helped pioneer the concept of car-like comfort combined with rugged mechanical durability. And, it's fully loaded with style."

New shoes for a Starliner
Being from Indiana I have a soft spot for Studebakers. I saw this Maisto 1953 Skyliner for under a buck so I quickly snapped it up. No interior at all, but I really like the paint scheme. The wheels had to go. I had a few sets of M2 wheels lying around, so a quick drill out of the rivets, and viola:
